How to use Clubspark

Various elements of the club are managed using an online system called ‘Clubspark’, provided by the LTA. This system has strict safeguarding standards, requiring juniors to have a parent or guardian registered alongside their membership. The parent or guardian must use the system on the junior's behalf for court bookings or coaching sessions.

Note: Juniors aged 13 or older can register themselves on Clubspark and make their own bookings.

How to book your junior onto a coaching session

There is no longer a requirement to book juniors onto regular weekly coaching sessions. Juniors can simply turn up at the correct time and will be accommodated, regardless of the overall numbers.

Session details:

Monday 6-7pm: Junior member session, 5 courts, 30 places
Saturday 10-11am: Junior member session, 5 courts, 30 places

How to book a court for your junior

Juniors aged 13 or older can book their own courts through Clubspark. Parents or guardians must make the bookings for juniors under 13. For assistance, contact the Head Coach or Membership Secretary.

Steps for booking a court:

Parent/guardian signs into Clubspark.
Select the junior’s profile from the top-right corner.
Navigate to 'Book A Court' and choose a court and time.
Confirm booking and accept any terms or consents required.

Court booking limits:

Book up to 14 days in advance.
Book a maximum of two 30-minute sessions (1 hour) per process.
Book up to seven 30-minute sessions per week.

Code of conduct

We have a Junior Code of Conduct, which we ask all juniors and their parents/guardians to be aware of and comply with. Any concerns should be brought to the Head Coach or the Safeguarding Officer.

Junior code of conduct

Our aim is to provide a professional, safe, and fun environment for all players and guests. The following rules apply during junior sessions, coaching, and matches:

Treat all coaches, assistants, players, and opponents with respect.
Respect the court, equipment, and facilities.
Only water is allowed on court. Food must be eaten off court.
Follow instructions from the coach immediately.
Pick up tennis balls quickly and safely when asked.
No bad language, throwing equipment, or answering back is tolerated.

Parents code of conduct

We want your child to enjoy the club and events without unnecessary pressure. Parents are asked to:

Provide positive feedback on your child’s performance.
Refrain from interfering with coaching, scoring, or line calls.
Show respect for coaches, players, and opponents.

Disciplinary actions

Coaches reserve the right to refuse juniors who consistently break the rules. Persistent breaches may lead to warnings, disciplinary meetings, and potential suspension or termination of membership.
